REGENERATIVE FARMING HUB: FARMING FOOD AND NATURE
The Local Nature Partnership (LNP) for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly has been offered an area at this year’s Royal Cornwall Show! To discuss and advertise all things regenerative agriculture, the LNP is hosting a Regenerative Farming Hub that will be a one-stop-shop, showcasing the benefits and opportunities available to local farmers and landowners.
Regenerative farming is about improving soil health and farm productivity, to drive important environmental change while bolstering farm sustainability. The Hub will promote regenerative agriculture by bringing together key organisations to engage the community and highlight the support available. With eye-catching displays and regenerative exhibits, the LNP’s key partners will be Cornwall National Landscapes (who manage FiPL – Farming in Protected Landscapes Fund), and the Local Investment in Cornwall (LINC) team, among others. LINC is the newly released natural capital platform and package that links funders and investors to nature projects and helps bring projects to investment-readiness. Taking place 6-8th June, the show promises another jam-packed event with the best that Cornwall (and beyond) has to offer, from JCB’s Dancing Diggers to parades of the Duchy’s best livestock. So to explore all this, and how regenerative agriculture could benefit you, make sure to drop by to our Hub at stand 287!
